The general rule for belts is to add 2 inches to your actual waist to take account of clothing so if you are a 34 inch waist then order a 36 inch belt. Please don't use trouser sizes as they can stretch and shrink over time, especially jeans.
Alternatively the best way is to measure a current belt from the fold in leather at the buckle end to the hole that its comfortably to wear at and order that size. If this size is an odd number or you want a size not listed in the drop down menu then order the closest size and send me a message with the order just to let me know the size you need, there will be a 'message seller' box at checkout or send a message through the 'contact me' page.
All my belts are measured from the fold in leather at the buckle end to the middle of the buckle holes and not the end tip so a 34 inch belt will be 34 inches from the fold in leather at the buckle end to the middle of the buckle holes and then another 6 inches or so to the end tip.
